At The Gourmet Kitchen Company, we design elegant and bespoke Shaker kitchens. New Zealand based, our kitchens are thoughtfully designed, capturing the sophisticated look and luxurious feel of a traditional handcrafted kitchen.
Our luxury kitchens are all bespoke and thoughtfully designed to our clients’ personal taste. We incorporate refined craftsmanship and elegant finishes in all that we design, using only the finest materials and classical Shaker elements. It’s what defines our signature sophisticated style.

We make sure each Shaker kitchen is built with sophisticated style at the forefront and smart functionality in mind.
DESIGN PROCESS
Design & Consultation
Our design starts with a consultation. We talk to you, understand your vision and how you want your kitchen to fit in your home. With our experience, knowledge and eye for a tasteful traditional aesthetic, we come up with your own custom kitchen design.
Source & Build
From there, we start the build, sourcing the best materials, from marble benchtops, to naturally-sourced timber cabinets, to the finest fittings. We take care to source quality and eco-conscious materials. From there, we build and craft your dream design and turn it into reality.
Kitchen Installation
We’re proud to say that our installation process takes under 3 days. Our installation team are experienced in fitting kitchens with the utmost care, and with less disruption for you. It’s all so you can enjoy your beautiful new kitchen sooner.
QUALITY MATERIALS
Shaker kitchens are built on a strong heritage of craftsmanship. Using only naturally-sourced timbers, the original 18th century Shaker style kitchens were built to last, with a classic aesthetic that paired functionality with beautiful design.
It’s that quality craftsmanship which lies at the core of every Gourmet Kitchen Company design.
We design with only the finest materials. It’s something we don’t compromise on. We understand that a kitchen is a lasting thing. It’s the heart of the home, made to be used day after day. That’s why a kitchen needs to be built with only the best materials and expert craftsmanship.
We also understand that New Zealanders care about the environment and that’s something we always consider when building our Shaker kitchens. Being eco-conscious is something that we’ve embraced in every design that we do.
With the environment in mind, we don’t use harsh plastics or unsafe MDF products and our timbers are all naturally-sourced from fully sustainable forests.
